A word of encouragement became a lasting sense of purpose.
Growing up in Estill, Charles was greeted by his high school principal, Ms. Fairly Nelson, with a word he never forgot: “Greatness.” That belief in his potential became the inspiration for Project Greatness.
The initiative connects educational opportunity with mental-health awareness. Its annual scholarship invites students to reflect on mental wellness as they prepare for their future.
